Druze Student Paper Prize
This year (2025) marks the inauguration of an annual Druze Student Paper Prize awarded by the Center of Contemporary Arab Studies (CCAS) at Georgetown University for an exceptional submission of written academic work that focuses on the Druze. Both undergraduate and graduate students studying fields in the humanities and social sciences at U.S.-based institutions are eligible to submit. The awardee will receive a prize of $500, plus be featured in the CCAS Newsmagazine. This paper prize is made possible through a collaboration with the American Druze Foundation.
Papers should be no longer than 7,000 words (not including notes and bibliography). All papers must have been written as part of an academic program (undergraduate or graduate) between August 1, 2023 and May 31, 2025. The paper should include a cover page with the name of the professor and class for which the paper was written and email addresses for both the student and professor.
