Research Interests: Gender, post-colonialism, social mobilization, U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East
Salmah is an accelerated master's student completing an undergraduate degree in International Politics and her graduate degree in Arab Studies. During her time at Georgetown, she has been a research fellow with the Mortara Center studying revolutions and feminist mobilization in Tunisia and Egypt. Salmah previously interned at the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia, and for the Middle East Program at CSIS. She additionally worked as a Research Assistant at the Arab Studies Institute. Salmah enjoys reading, cooking, and baking Middle Eastern desserts.
