Growing up in the United Arab Emirates and Syria as a Palestinian refugee, Said has first-hand experience with the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the Arab Spring. He earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science with a minor in Conflict and Peace Studies from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2019. During his college years, Said spent three consecutive summers working at Concordia Language Villages, where he taught beginner, intermediate, and advanced level Arabic. Prior to joining the MAAS program, he worked for two years at NorthRock Partners, where he gained foundational experience in the wealth management industry.
