Rania holds a Bachelor’s degree in Translation from Al-Azhar University in Gaza. Her background focuses on translation, primarily in media translation. Moreover, her expertise extends to writing, particularly in journalism and creative fields, where her work has been featured in various newspapers. Having a keen interest in issues related to refugees, migration, displacement, and integration, she is equally passionate about the role of journalism and media in dealing with these issues. Through pursuing a Master’s in Arab Studies at Georgetown, she aims to enrich her insights into the cultural and social transformations occurring in the Middle East and Arab societies, while examining how these dynamics shape the translation process and their broader interconnections. Rania seeks to explore the connections between her diverse interests and how they come together to form a cohesive framework, enabling her to bridge knowledge gaps and contribute to societal progress.
