Mwafaq Dandan is a professor of economics at Al-Balqa' Applied University in Jordan. He earned his PhD in economics from the University of Baroda in India in 1999. Dr. Dandan served as associate professor at Al-Jouf University in Saudi Arabia from 2010 to 2014. In 2016, Dr. Dandan took an appointment as a visiting research scholar at De Minho University in Portugal through the Erasmus Mondus Project. He was recently awarded a Fulbright Fellowship and will spend part of his fellowship period (January-July 2020) at CCAS as a visiting researcher. His research interests include gender studies in the MENA region.
