Lennon graduated from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York in 2016 with a B.A. in History and a minor in Arabic Language and Culture. He wrote his senior thesis on development in Palestine and the U.S. role in the Oslo Accords. Following graduation, Lennon taught English in Madrid before receiving a year-long fellowship from Vassar to study Modern Standard Arabic in Rabat, Morocco. As a MAAS student, Lennon is studying Arabic language and literature, religion, and gender studies. This past summer he interned with a civil society organization in Tunisia focused on Islamic and democratic political thought.
