Research Interests: Legal rights of religious and ethnic minorities
Annalise is a first-year student in the Accelerated MAAS Program and a senior in Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service studying Comparative Politics with minors in Spanish and Arabic. Prior to entering the MAAS program, Annalise worked as a research assistant for Professor Rochelle Davis and assisted with research on IDP returnees in Iraq. She has also worked on Jadaliyya's Migrants and Refugees page and served as a Research Assistant for The Bridge Initiative at Georgetown, where she researched countering violent extremism programs and their infringement on civil liberties. During her time at CCAS, Annalise hopes to focus on international development and study the legal rights of marginalized groups in the Middle East and North Africa.
