Title: Climate Change and Regional Instability in the Middle East

This paper explores the complex relationships between water weaponization, poor governance, and climate change. I write that human vulnerability in the Middle East has historically been exacerbated by the targeting and use of resources and civilian infrastructures as weapons of war during armed conflicts. The paper examines the situation of Palestinians under Israeli bombardments in Gaza and military occupation in the West Bank. Other cases include Iraq, Syria and Yemen.
