Tyler Egor Lindquist

Tyler Egor Lindquist earned bachelor’s degrees in Arabic and Spanish from Michigan State University, along with minors in Portuguese and Russian. During his undergraduate studies, Egor completed intensive Arabic language programs in Amman, Jordan, and studied Portuguese in São Paulo, Brazil, as a recipient of the Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship. Most recently, he has worked at a nonprofit organization in Michigan supporting Sudanese refugees locally and abroad. Egor’s academic interests include migration studies, language acquisition, and social anthropology. He hopes to pursue a career in public service that promotes international understanding through language, education, and cross-cultural collaboration. Outside of academics, Egor enjoys bike riding, trying new food, traveling, and learning new languages. While living in Washington, D.C., he looks forward to exploring the city’s museums and participating in cultural events.
