Dharini Parthasarathy
Assistant Director of Academic Programs
Dharini Parthasarathy is the Assistant Director of Academic Programs at CCAS and started working in the Center in Spring 2024. She holds an MS in Learning Experience Design from Brandeis University, an MA in Higher Education and Student Affairs from New York University, a BS in Electrical Engineering and a BS in Mathematics and Statistics from Miami University.
Prior to joining the Center, Dharini worked at New York University Abu Dhabi in the Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Community Programs as an Instructor and Learning Designer. In this role, she designed a course titled College Readiness and Success for high achieving Emirati high school students. She also advised students on undergraduate, graduate, and scholarship applications; supported recruitment and selection efforts; and served as an assistant instructor for several academic courses.
Dharini manages the Center’s academic programs, including the Master of Arts in Arab Studies (MAAS) program, undergraduate and graduate certificates in Arab Studies, Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowships and other Title VI programming, and post-doctoral fellowships. Her work involves advising and counseling students, curriculum and program management, recruitment and admissions, managing financial aid, and helping to maintain relations with alumni.
