Teach-In on Yemen

Saturday, March 18, 2017, 10:00am to 1:00pm (for educators), 1:00pm to 4:00pm (open to the public and educators) Morning portion will be held in the CCAS Boardroom, ICC #141. The Afternoon portion will be held in McShain Lounge (large), McCarthy Hall, Georgetown University. This event continues the series of CCAS teach-ins that combine a background session for educators, and an afternoon public panel and discussion that is also open to the public. Yemen’s struggles since the Arab Spring, and the ongoing civil strife and external intervention is a prime example of important events that are inadequately covered in the mainstream media.
