Prof. Jebnoun Speaks at Davidson College

CCAS Adjunct Professor Noureddine Jebnoun visited Davidson College on September 24, where he spent the day engaging with students and faculty on questions of migration across the Sahara-Sahel-Mediterranean region. He visited courses in Francophone Humanities and Mediterranean Ecologies, where students discussed his documentary En route to Europe: We Burn or Die, and met with a senior writing a thesis on Mediterranean migration and Tunisia. Jebnoun concluded the visit with a public lecture, “(Im)mobility, Dispossession, and Death in the Sahara-Sahel-Mediterranean Trans-Region,” followed by a discussion with attendees.
