Zach is enrolled in the five-year accelerated M.A. in Arab Studies and B.S. program in Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service, with his undergraduate concentration in regional studies of the Islamic World. He has studied in Morocco twice—in summer 2016 through the State Departments NISL-Y program and during the first half of the spring 2020 semester learning Arabic—and spent one summer in Jordan and Qasid. He also worked as a research assistant for the Georgetown Undergraduate Scholars Program assisting in research on Private Military Companies in the Gulf.
