Mohamed-Ali Adraoui is a French political scientist and international historian who holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Sciences Po Paris (2011). He is currently working on a book dealing with the history of U.S. foreign policy towards the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood. His research is funded by the European Union through a Marie Sklodowska Curie Fellowship and will be published in January 2020 with Oxford University Press under the title Salafism Goes Global. Dr. Adraoui's previous publications include an edited volume, Foreign Policy of Islamist Political Parties (Oxford University Press, 2018)—and articles related to the fields of political Islam, Middle East Politics and U.S. foreign policy published in leading journals including International Affairs, International Politics, Journal of Historical Sociology, Mediterranean Politics, Georgetown Journal of International Affairs, and Current Trends in Islamist Ideology. He was previously a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence (2013-2015) and a Senior Fellow at the Middle East Institute at the National University of Singapore (2015-2017). He is a visiting research scholar at CCAS for the 2019-2020 academic year.
