Jenna joins the MAAS program with roughly 5 years of work experience in the international relations/development field. As a returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Republic of Georgia '16-'18) and a Fulbright ETA (Bahrain '18-'19), Jenna wishes to gain knowledge and expertise on gender, race/ethnicity, and development theory and practice in the Arab world. During her time working abroad, she passionately focused on girls empowerment projects such as leadership camps, youth sports leagues, and mother-daughter initiatives. She currently works as the Assistant Director of the Mortara Center for International Studies at the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown.
