Fida Adely is an Associate Professor and the holder of the Clovis and Hala Salaam Maksoud Chair in Arab Studies at the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies in the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. Dr. Adely is a cultural anthropologist whose research interests include education, women and development, and gender and labor in the Arab world.
