Dana joined CCAS in October 2018. She has more than 14 years of professional experience in the field of educational development in Syria, Jordan, and in the Arab world more broadly. Her previous experience was focused on youth empowerment through learning and education, community engagement, and refugee integration into host communities. Dana has a BA in English Literature from Damascus University, an MA in Arab Studies from Georgetown University, and a Certificate in Refugees and International Migration from Georgetown University. Dana was a 2014 John Smith Trust Rule of Law Fellow, and a recipient of the 2015 World of Difference Award from the International Alliance for Women.
