The CCAS mourns the loss of Nina Brekelmans

The CCAS community is deeply saddened to learn of the death  on June 3, 2015 of Nina Brekelmans (MAAS '15), who graduated from the program in May. We extend our most heartfelt condolences to Nina's family, friends, and colleagues, and join them in mourning her tragic and premature passing. While at CCAS, Nina was involved in countless community activities, and she touched the lives of many individuals on and off campus. Nina was an intelligent, gracious, warm, and caring person, and she will be sorely missed by our faculty, staff and students.

The CCAS and Georgetown University are currently in touch with Nina’s family and are offering their support during this time of sorrow. Please join us in keeping them in our thoughts and prayers.  A memorial service will be held on Wednesday June 10, 2015 at 11:00am in the Dahlgren Chapel on the main campus.
