Title: CCAS Faculty Member Speaks at ADC Conference

CCAS would like to congratulate Dr. Saleh Abdel Jawad for the honor he received at the recent ADC National Convention held in Washington, DC from June 12-15, 2014. Dr. Abdel Jawad, a 2013-14 Carnegie Fellow at CCAS, gave the keynote lecture on Palestine during the late Ottoman period, a subject which he has been researching at Georgetown and which he presented as a lecture at CCAS in April. Dr. Abdel Jawad is currently working on a book about Palestine and the Ottomans, and he will be publishing an article about this subject as well in the upcoming CCAS newsletter.
