New, from the library!

Librarian note from September 23, 2004

I'm now having office hours in the CCAS student computer lab by the reception desk wednesdays from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and in the Arabic department Thursdays 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Come by with any research questions or just to chat! Remember to start your research for your papers early!

Now you can get 24/7 help from the library!

Georgetown University Library has joined 18 other libraries of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) to form a Virtual Reference Consortium. The Consortium will provide online reference help 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Georgetown students, faculty and staff will reach a Georgetown librarian from 12 noon-9:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 12 noon - 4:30 p.m. on Friday, and 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Sunday. At all other times, 24/7, librarians from other participating AJCU institutions or librarians from Librarians By Request, a division of Tutor.com, will answer your questions.

Just click the Online Help button on the library homepage, or you can click here directly.
