Ahlan wa-sahlan! Welcome (back)!
Many new features and resources are offered by the Georgetown University Library this year. To learn about them, please attend the brief library orientation session for new MAAS students (ALL students & faculty are welcome!) on 29 Sept. from 10-11 a.m. in the CCAS Boardroom.

--We have created a new resource for internet research pertaining to the Middle East, with links to many different types of websites, sorted by categories such as media, Islam, online journals, and others. (If you have further suggestions feel free to email me at bickettb@georgetown.edu.)

--The newest materials added to the library's collections can be viewed at http://www.library.georgetown.edu/newmaterials/
--GEORGE, the library catalog, is now searchable in Arabic script. This works in the author, title and keyword searches; it's only for recently added materials, so works best for items published after 2003, though you will find some older materials too. You can access George via the library's homepage: www.library.georgetown.edu
...not to mention many new electronic resources and other goodies!
