Dr. Emad Shahin delivered a lecture on the state of democracy in Egypt. He concluded that the future of democracy in Egypt is bleak, as in his mind the status quo persists and there is little sign of liberalizing reform. He estimates a ten year time period for any real democratic reform to take place.
