Middle East Desk
Middle East Desk is a joint project of the Middle East Research and Information Project and the Kevorkian Center at New York University. Middle East Outreach Council
Established in 1981, MEOC is a nonprofit, nationwide network of educators working to increase public knowledge about the peoples, places, and cultures of the Middle East, including the Arab world, Iran, Israel, Turkey, and Afghanistan. MEOC resources and activities are apolitical and nonpartisan; they are directed primarily to nonspecialist audiences at the K12, college, and community college levels.
