Middle East Outreach Council

Established in 1981, MEOC is a nonprofit, nationwide network of educators working to increase public knowledge about the peoples, places, and cultures of the Middle East, including the Arab world, Iran, Israel, Turkey, and Afghanistan. MEOC resources and activities are apolitical and nonpartisan; they are directed primarily to nonspecialist audiences at the K–12, college, and community college levels.

An organization devoted to promoting public understanding of US policy in the Middle East.

Provides news, perspectives, and independent analyses of events and developments in the Middle East not available from mainstream news sources
