Vanessa De Bruyn

Vanessa de Bruyn graduated cum laude from St. Lawrence University in 2005 with a degree in political science and a concentration in international politics.  As a senior, she completed an honors thesis about the effects of American lobby groups on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.  During her undergraduate years, Vanessa spent one semester studying Chinese in Shanghai, another interning for both Public Campaign and the Jerusalem Fund for Education in D.C., and a summer working at the Hope Secondary School and Bethlehem Bible College in the West Bank.  After graduating, Vanessa spent two and a half years living in a small village in Jordan, where she taught English with the Peace Corps.  Her non-academic interests include soccer, playing the piano, hiking, and photography.
