Prior to becoming Assistant Director in January 2007, Ms. Kiblawi was the Public Affairs Coordinator at CCAS since December 2003. She was made Associate Director in June 2008. Ms. Kiblawi holds a BA in Finance and Management from the University of Texas-Austin and an MA from the University of Texas-Dallas in The Humanities, with focuses on Linguistics/Cross-Cultural Understanding and History/Gender Studies. Of Palestinian-American descent, Ms. Kiblawi was born and raised in Saudi Arabia, where she lived until moving to Dallas, Texas at age 11. She has management, event, media and public relations experience, having managed a small medical practice, owned a marketing and event planning consultancy and worked at Al Jazeera Satellite Channel's Washington Bureau.
