Irfan Shahid, Byzantium and the Arabs: Late Antiquity

Irfan Shahid most recently published “Byzantium and the Arabs: Late Antiquity” pp.I-XVI; the first volume of his collected articles on late antiquity was published by Byzantion in Belgium.The second volume is being prepared for publication. Other publications include an article on “Ahmad Shawqi” for the Dictionary of Literary Biography and a review of Saleh Agha’s volume; “The Revolution that toppled the Umayyads” appearing in the Viennese journal, WZKM, vol. 95, pp. 442-45l.
