Mimi Kirk joined CCAS as its new Multimedia and Publications Editor in March, after having worked in editorial positions at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, Smithsonian magazine, and AARP The Magazine since 2003. Ms. Kirk has a B.A. in anthropology from Haverford College and an M.A. in cultural studies from Emory University, where she focused her studies on Islamic and French colonial architecture in the city of Fès, Morocco. She is also a part-time student at Johns Hopkins University, where she is pursuing an M.A. in creative nonfiction writing.
CCAS is also pleased to announce that Director Dr. Michael C. Hudson authorized title upgrades for Assistant Director Rania Kiblawi and Outreach Coordinator Zeina Seikaly. Rania has been named Associate Director, and Zeina’s new title is Director of Educational Outreach. Says Dr. Hudson: “I have done this in recognition of their outstanding performance in their respective positions.” Alf mabrouk goes out to Rania and Zeina for this much-deserved recognition!
